As you know, the verb (verb) is the part of speech, indicating action or state. The verbs in the English language are divided into semantic, service and support. English verb has such categories as person, number, dimension, time, deposit and inclination. One of the major classifications of verbs in the English language is their division into the right (regular verbs) and irregular (irregular verbs). We talk about the three forms of irregular verbs in the English language, as with correct any difficulties should arise.
What are these three forms of irregular verbs in English?
In any textbook or reference English grammar, we will certainly find a table with three forms of irregular verbs. Why exactly three forms? Imagine that in front of us a table with three forms of irregular verbs, consisting of three columns. First, as a rule, signed by the Infinitive. This is the verb infinitive without the particle to, which we can find in the dictionary. It was from this original shape and form the rest. For example, we take a few verbs: to cost (cost), to go (go, go), to buy (buy), to dream (dream). If we find these verbs in the first column, their first form will be presented thus: cost, go, buy, dream.
The second column in the table is dedicated to the second form of irregular verbs, which is a verb in the simple past tense (Past Simple). Since then it begins to tell right from wrong verb. After all, according to the rules, form the simple past tense of regular verbs is formed by adding to the base end of the verb — ed. And here at irregular verbs in English, this form is not formed according to the rules and the need to memorize it. That is what will be the form of Past Simple verbs in our example: cost, went, bought, dreamt / dreamed. Last verb can form this form and as a standard the correct verb.
The last of the three forms of irregular verbs in English is the past participle (Participle II). His education also serves as a reason for the division of verbs in the correct and incorrect. In this form of regular verbs is formed in the same way as the previous one (the addition of the end — ed). But from past participle of irregular verbs are also subject to memorize. These forms for our examples: cost, gone, bought, dreamt / dreamed.

Basically, when learning a language teacher requires students to memorize every lesson, for example, dozens of irregular verbs and their forms. This process takes quite slow, as many irregular verbs, and a table with them is not small. However, there is an alternative way to explore the three forms of irregular verbs. If you notice, among verbs in our example there is one, all three forms of which are the same. There verb, all three forms of which are totally different. One of the verb has two identical and one great shape, and another verb is capable of forming a simple past tense and past participle, and standard and not according to the rules.
