For the first time the table of irregular verbs students face at the beginning of learning English. Instead of a simple rule — «just add — ed — and get past!» — We have to use a long list, which needs to find the desired word, and always have at hand a dictionary. The question arises: how can memorize all these irregular verbs?
The process of memory depends on the properties of memory that each has its own. A person with good visual memory is sufficient to run through the table or hang on the eyes, flat cards with three forms of the studied words. The advanced mechanical memory will learn verbs, rewriting them from the dictionary in a notebook or doing exercises on the correct form of the verb substitution in the textbook. Very good results bring reading a rhyming verbs in blocks — in this case, connected and visual and auditory memory.
On the Internet you can find poems in which the irregular verbs in English are on the site of Russian words — rhymes and help to learn the meaning of the verse and the translation of the word, and its changes. The following link is a small booklet with such rhyming: ru.calameo.com.
