Four verbs presented in this article have a value which always accompanies us. Therefore, the evidence is all one-sided, confirming only their own human judgment, or against the opinion of another person.

Do not try to argue with her. — Do not try to argue with her.
Go to the third verb debate. It describes a situation similar to the preceding, wherein different face (often opposing) standpoint. But the verb used to describe public discussion of serious moments (for example, the debate in government).
These issues need to be debated openly. — These issues need to be discussed openly.
They will debate it when Parliament meets. — They will discuss is when the parliament will start working.
They have been debating for several hours without reaching the conclusion. — They debated for several hours, but had not taken any decision.
In spoken English the verb is used sometimes jocular tone, indicating a dispute with different opinions, but not in the form of public speaking.
We are still debating whether to go out tonight or not. — We are still hotly debated, we go somewhere else today or not.
Fourth synonym dispute is close in meaning to argue and debate, but it involves a stormy dispute and the subject of the dispute often concerns everyday life.
They disputed whether to wait or not. — They argued to wait or not.
Some husbands and wives are always disputing. — In other families, husbands and wives often squabble.
Dispute may also designate a public or organized discussion, but in the meaning of the verb is used less and less in modern English.
I dispute that point. — I challenge this point.
The will was disputed. — The will was contested.
